What to do near L'Amandière?


Whatever you want to do with your day, your host will be able to advise you on activities to do. For thrills, go to one of the paragliding schools in the region: the school of Paragliding des Baronnies 750 meters away and L'Esprit Parapente 2 kilometers away. All year round, near our guest house, you can go for beautiful walks by bike, on foot, by motorbike or by car, you will pass through little corners of greenery and nature. On your way, you may have the chance, in July, to observe lavender fields. To discover all the regional specialties and all the good products, we invite you to visit the various markets in the region: the Buis-les-Baronnies market, Wednesday and Saturday mornings, the Sault market, the Wednesday mornings and at the Montbrun-les-Bains market on Saturday mornings.

 For those who don't want to leave L'Amandière, you can enjoy the swimming pool, the sauna, the garden and the bowling green, on sunny summer days.

The village of Séderon


In the middle of large wild expanses, the village of Séderon shines and stands out from the landscape. This small town is located in the heart of Drôme Provençale, on the border between Provence and Dauphiné. The capital of the canton of Baronnies will charm you with its unusual location, nestled between two rocky cliffs. Séderon is overlooked by the rocks of La Tour and Crapon. You will enjoy strolling through the charming alleys of the medieval town centre, visiting the ruins of the Notre-Dame-la-Brune Chapel and hiking in the surroundings, suitable for all levels.

Aulan Castle


Built on a rocky outcrop, the Château d'Aulan dominates the entrance to the Gorges du Toulourenc. The presence of the castle is attested since the 13th century. The Château d'Aulan is the only private residence in the Baronnies open to visitors. The Château d'Aulan hosts many family reunions, but also cultural events such as concerts or conferences. This castle was a strong link in the defensive strategy of the lords of Mévouillon.

The village of Montbrun-les-Bains


Classified among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France", discover a superb village in the Drôme, Montbrun-les-Bains. This magnificent perched village is located between the Baronnies and Mont Ventoux. You will be charmed by this village with its springs, fountains and old stones. Montbrun-les-Bains has been a recognized spa resort since Roman times. Your well-being will be at the heart of your concerns during your visit to Montbrun-les-Bains.

The village of Buis-les-Baronnies


In the heart of lush greenery, between olive trees, lime trees, apricot trees and vineyards, Buis-les-Baronnies is a charming town in the heart of Drôme Provençale. To discover and enjoy all the flavors of the region, we invite you to discover Buis-les-Baronnies on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings, where the market animates the streets of the city center. You will enjoy strolling through the streets of the center to discover the 15th century arcades, the remains of the old enclosure, the Ursuline chapel and the Maison des Plantes.

The Gorges of the Méouge


In the heart of the Baronnies Provençales, the Gorges de la Méouge are a real oasis in the heart of nature. The Gorges de la Méouge connect the Drôme Provençale to the Hautes-Alpes. You will enjoy swimming, recharging your batteries, relaxing or taking a nice walk on the banks of the Gorges de la Méouge. This area is classified as a biological reserve and Natura 2000 site. The Toulourenc Gorges

The Ouveze


The Ouvèze is a pleasant, refreshing river that crosses several villages and towns in Provence. The Ouvèze passes through Buis-les-Baronnies, Mollans-sur-Ouvèze, Entrechaux, Vaison-la-Romaine, Séguret, Gigondas, Jonquières, Sarrians and Sorgue.
